General Directions
1. The time limit and number of questions for the Diagnostic Tests are as follows:
Time Limit Number of Items Verbal 30 minutes 30 Math 45 minutes 28 Analytical 60 minutes 35 Each test is administered separately. You do not have to do all three at the same sitting.
2. The items in the tests are presented sequentially. You must enter and confirm an answer to an item before you will be allowed to move on to the next item. You cannot go back to an item once you have left it.
3. The procedure for answering is:
- POINT AND CLICK. First, position the arrow-pointer over the round "radio button" associated with the answer you want to enter and "click" using the left-button of your mouse. A black "dot" will appear inside the circle to indicate your choice. At this point, you may change your answer if you wish using the same method: just click on a different "radio button."
- CONFIRM. Second, once you are satisfied with your choice, click on the "CONFIRM" button on the tool bar at the bottom of your screen. Your answer is recorded and the next item appears.
4. There is a status bar at the top of the screen. The window to the left tells you the number of the item you are working on; the window to the right tells you how much time remains in the test. The test is over when you have answered all items or time expires--which ever occurs first. You can also quit at any time by clicking the "QUIT" button; but if you exit prematurely, you will not receive a score or feedback.
